This is an infographic contrasting the way that marijuana smokers view color, compared with the other students in the poll that do not smoke marijuana.

Marijuana has been a source of debate among many graphic designers. The San Jose State BFA class of 2012 was analyzed and surveyed on whether they prefer smelling marijuana smoke to cigarette smoke. They were asked a series of questions about color associations and the relationship with the five senses. The students could only answer in the following colors: red, yellow, orange, green, blue, purple, brown, gray and white. Among the students that preferred marijuana smoke, it was found that they answered with the most abnormal answers. Overwhelmingly those who preferred marijuana a smoke answered with the most unique color association. These abnormalities are actually shown in the chart, the non-abnormalitie are the empty fields.
